Cornerstone Ministry

Thank you for visiting the Cornerstone Ministry web page (our Men's Ministry) at Grace Assembly of God. We are glad you have come to see what we are about.

God has laid a vision on our hearts about how we are to fulfill the mission of the Church, that is to reach the lost for Christ and disciple them in the Lord. Through much prayer and seeking the Lord's will, we have named our ministry Cornerstone Ministry with the key verses being Eph 2:19-22 (NIV) "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." Our motto, based on the key verse, is: Christ, our foundation.

Our vision statement is: Uplift, Uphold, Reach Out through Prayer, Participation, Love. A more detailed definition follows.

• Uplift the Church, the Pastor, and the Ministries of the Church through prayer and participation.
• Uphold each other and new men in our church with fellowship, friendship, and accountability (mentoring).
• Reach Out to our local community to show the love of Christ in our actions.

This vision, which we have received from the Lord, will guide us and be a standard that we hold everything we do against.

We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, typically with the Women's Ministry. We have a meal together and then break off to discuss the business God has given us to do.
